Wiley joins David & Tim at the 3rd Annual
Grillin’Day!
This isn’t JUST the Testosterone Zone!
For the third year, David Freeman and food journalist Tim Rutherford will tie on the aprons, strap on the grill tools and make real fire to grill real food in our storefront courtyard. They will be joined by Wiley McCrary, the Georgia and South Carolina BBQ Grand Champion, who will have the largest smoker you have ever seen. Wiley is the owner of Wiley’s Championship BBQ. These three are sure to “geek-out” with lots of grill talk, the brandishing of sharp knives and a joke or two to brighten, we hope, your day!
But this isn’t just a testosterone zone! David, Tim and Wiley know that lots of people they like to call “the women-folk” are the queens of their own grills. Whether you’re a grillin’ newbie, a veteran BBQ-er or just want to sample these guys cooking, come on out…
Saturday, April 25
11 a.m.-4 p.m.
David and Tim will demo new grill gadgets, cooking techniques and have samples of food prepared with the large selection of rubs, sauces and marinades from the store.
Sample skirt steak, beer can chicken, burgers and hot dogs, grilled veggies and Tim’s grilled chicken fajitas. Learn the basics of making a good charcoal fire and foolproof methods for making your backyard cooking experience rewarding, easy and delicious!
